Advantages: ========== * Games can also be purchased in stores are cheaper to PSN. * The load faster * They use less energy (no need to turn the Blu Ray) * Some games are only available by download, for example, pain, Wipeout HD. * You can not lose or damage the disc. * You do not have to change discs to change games. Disadvantages: ============= * You can not take the games back to the homes of friends (not easily anyway). * You can not trade in games when you're done with them. * You do not get a good printed manual. * You have to wait for the download before playing (but note the time it takes to go to the store, buy a game and take home) Conclusion: ========== Personally, if a game is available on PSN and in stores – buying the version of the store. This is mainly due to trade-in value, so I can get something money when I'm done with it. I bought several games that are only available through PSN and have been really happy with them. The process of purchase and download of them was simple and everything went very well.
