Make portable game consoles for sale? Legal or illegal?
I wanted to make my own portable game console. How to remove a playstation of age or older nintendo adding a screen and a handheld version. My question is is it legal for personal use? Is it legal to sell on eBay? and Is legal to sell on my own website? Thanks for the help.
This is called reverse engineering. Resale is probably legal, since they are still paying the original product. You may still be liable to a claim (whether in negligence or otherwise) to know how aggressively Nintendo and Sony to protect their products. You need a lawyer for this type of question.
