Game consoles are really fantastic … When they work
Some years ago I bought an Xbox 360 </ strong> to my son and I have to admit, so far, the best thing I ever bought him. Why? Well, he been using it regularly since then and to tell the truth, she also gave me many hours of fun as well.

Unfortunately, about last month, now Suddenly it stopped working </ i>. DVD </ strong> could not read any all this game was, of course, a great disappointment not only for my son but for me too, since we spend a lot of time playing against each sportgames others. And being a parent with a son totally devastated a damaged product is obviously not funny at all. The next day, a friend mine asked me to call the Xbox support </ i> I did. The guy i talked about when support was nice </ u> and gave me some tips on how to proceed, but none of the things he mentioned worked, not for me anyway. Then he told me that I should contact the dealer and ask them how to do this.
The next morning, I contacted the dealer who explained that, unfortunately, the console has missed Guarantee </ strong>, which had nothing new to me so I kind of feared that response, however, you never know …
I went home to my son and told him that this is not what we can do because the issue of security. He asked me if it wasn't possible to replace the drive ourselves? I told him I will check if this is possible. So I went directly to my computer and started searching google for Xbox disc replacement </ strong> and to my surprise, there were many sites and even auctions on ebay with this. Without hesitation, I ordered one from a ebay seller with a good reputation and ten days later I received in my mail.

When my son came home from school, I told him the good news and, ultimately, your father will try to resolve this question, he replied with a smile big. I went upstairs, where my office and I was about to open Console when I noticed, to my surprise, there werent any screws or anything that allows me to open the case ??!?! Just when was this going to end …..
Again, I searched on Google, this time for opening xbox360 guides </ Strong>. There were few, some good and bad, but many of them included a strange tool I've ever seen and I had do a search for "xbox 360 tool </ i>" that was when I discovered a product called Console Toolkit </ strong> </ a> for the first time. According to one of the sites in this kit should include "Completely open any video game," I thought much exactly what I wanted!
And so I bought one from Amazon A few days later I received. I must admit, this kit was better than I expected! For starters, it included a small card that explains exactly what tools I have to use to open the Xbox 360 (all tools have been numbered) for a dad with not much knowledge as you can imagine it was very convenient for me.

I returned to the guide I found earlier google and followed during each step and it was actually easy once I finally had the right "strange" tools to open it. Thus, for every single parent out there with a video game console damaged do not be afraid, once you "have found a guide on how to open it, just buy this toolkit gloss Amazon.com </ strong> </ a> ($ 24.99) or any other place to sell it. It is worthy of males and I can tell you tools themselves, at least for the Xbox 360, a tool is very unique.
PS Not surprisingly, my problems would not really end here, the next question once I had finally the new dvd in place was linked to key </ i> that I found first, after investigation, seaching, asking others on the Internet about these "key", appearantly there is a unique one </ strong> for each console and training, I may write another story about it one day;)

A few years ago I purchased a Xbox 360 Console to my son and I have to admit, up until now, it’s the best thing I have ever bought to him. Why? Well he’s been using it frequently ever since and to tell the truth it also have given me numerous hours of fun as well.

Unfortunately, about last month, now, suddenly it stopped working. The DVD Drive couldn’t read any game at all this was, of course, a big dissapointment not only for my son but also for me as well, since we spend a lot of time playing sportgames against eachother. And being a parent with a son totally devastated over a damaged product is obviously no fun at all. Next day a buddy of mine suggested me to call the XBOX Support which I did. The guy i spoke to at support was really nice and gave me several tips on how to proceed but none of the things he mentioned worked out, not for me anyway. So he told me I should contact the reseller and ask them how to proceed with this matter.
The following morning I contacted the reseller who explained that unfortunately the console has run out of warranty, which was nothing new to me so I kind of feared this answer nevertheless, you never know…
I went home to my son and told him that it is not much we can do because of the warranty issue. He asked me if it wasnt possible to replace the drive ourselves? I told him I’ll check if this is possible. So I went directly to my computer and started searching google for xbox replacement drive and to my suprise there were lots of sites and even auctions with this on ebay. Without hesitation I ordered one from an ebay-seller with a good reputation and ten days later I recieved it in my mail.

I got back to the guide i’ve found previously google and followed it during each step and It was actually easy once i finally had the right “strange” tools to open it. So for every single parent out there with a damaged videogame console , dont be afraid, once you`ve found a guide on how-to open it, just purchase this brilliant toolkit at <a href=”http://www.amazon.com/Console-Toolkit-GameCube/dp/B002PXVN5G/ “>Amazon.com (only $24.99) or at any other place selling it. It’s worthy of the bucks and I can tell you, the tools itself, at least for xbox 360, is very one-of-a-kind tool.
P.S. Not surprisingly, my problems wouldn’t really end here, the following issue, once I finally had the new dvd drive in place, was related to keys which I found out first after investigation, seaching, asking others on internet about these “keys”, appearantly there’s a unique one for each and every console and drive, perhaps I write another story about that some day
