Do Nintendo 64 games U.S. work in Australia?
I was wondering if someone could answer for me? I've been looking for a game called pokemon stadium on Nintendo 64 and finally found a cheap price, but in the U.S.. I live in Australia and we bought our Nintendo 64 here and wondering if I buy it and use it. Will to operate or use different systems Thanks?:)
I regret to inform you that the U.S. N64 games will not work in the Australian system, most because of the analog TV formats are not the same. Australia is running in PAL (used in England and elsewhere in Western Europe), while the U.S. is running in NTSC (used in Japan and Canada). Any attempt to play an NTSC game in PAL system or transfer all or not very undesirable results (of make the game unplayable) unless you have some kind of moderation to fix this. Not the answer you want to hear, but it's the harsh reality that will be addressed.
