Comet Crash

Comet Crash
Comet Crash

So it's a comet will crash to Earth in 2012 or not?

I imagine that if NASA can see a meteor coming in the year 2880, surely they can see one coming in the next five years.

At this time we know of no other comet that will hit Earth in 2012 or at any other time. However, in 2002 an asteroid about 10 meters in diameter whizzed within 120,000 kilometers of Earth. If he had beaten had been equivalent to the devastation of the Tunguska, Siberia back around the turn of the 20th century. The worst thing is that we knew about this asteroid until 3 days after he had gone for us. (http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn2444.html)
