How can I set a password for my internet service from Verizon DSL to prevent another person using it wirelessly?
Me mean when another person uses a laptop and looking for a wireless service, and anyone can use my DSL line. I need a WAP or WEP or what that is to restrict anyone from using my internet. I can not turn it off because I'm always downloading something.
Click Start, click My Network Places. Then in the next left my clikc View Network Connections. Then right-click the wireless icon. Find your connection in the box that lists all the connections. Double-click it and you should see a box. On that screen should be the box of the network key and confirm network key.
