How in the world can get SNES roms from different sites to play on an emulator or obtained from another?

site? I downloaded the SNES emulator, and then I look up and find SNES roms and download, and says my files are saved, but when I hit the game load in the emulator, go to my files and I can not find the game anywhere. I feel like I need a PhD to figure these things out. What am I doing wrong?
