It remains popular for some. But in general, is not as popular as it once was. With the new system like a PSP or DS and others, their choice much better. Not to mention the fact that the DS can play the same games as the DS. Now that's an advantage for Nintendo fans. Personally I have a DS and play all the time. I sold my GBA SP since many years.
