M3 DS Simply – games, movies, music and more on your Nintendo DS Lite

The M3 DS Simply is what is called a slot 1 homebrew solution for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite hand held video game system. Slot 1 part of the name refers to the location of games on the Nintendo DS hand-held itself. For those of you who read this and not in the know, the Nintendo DS has 2 cartridge slots. The first is the Slot 1 for Nintendo DS, and the second being the slot 2 for Game Boy Advance game cartridges.

1 card slot is very covetted because before the slot 1 solutions, it was necessary to put an oversized cartridge Boy Advance PassMe and a map in their Nintendo DS. Although this method of homebrew Nintendo DS rom playing worked as well, it was very unsightly, not to mention it was about twice the price.

The M3 Simply DS allows Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite owners to fully unlock their hand held system. You can load any type of Nintendo DS Roms and games and homebrew applications with just this one cartridge, which looks and behaves just like a game cartridge Nintendo DS regular. Although this article is not intended to be a M3 DS Simply Review, I'll list the ways to use the M3 DS Simply.

The M3 DS Simply is almost ready to use box, with the exception of a map microSD, you will need to purchase either online or your local radio shack type store or Best Buy. Included with the M3 DS Simply is a microSD card reader that plugs into your port USB to allow you to quickly and easily copy files from games and homebrew applications directly to the microSD card.

Just how do you use the M3 DS Simply? It's pretty simple. The M3 DS Simply uses microSD memory cards. These work just like Secure Digital / SD Card with the only difference being their size. Card readers are extremely small in size, yet pack the same amount of storage than their big brothers. Included with the microSD card reader / recorder, you can plug your microSD card into any USB port on your computer. You then simply drag and drop files your PC to your microSD memory card (which will be shown as a removable disk). Once you've selected all the files you want to put on the map (and play on your Nintendo DS) you remove the reader / writer and remove the microSD card.

The top of the M3 DS Simply, so small it is, really a slot on top where you can insert a microSD card. Amazing when you think that the M3 DS Simply is not bigger than a Nintendo cartridge DS. Once the microSD card is inserted and the M3 DS Simply cartridge is inserted into the Nintendo DS, just turned on your console, and you'll be greeted by the M3 DS Simply menu core.

The main menu of the M3 DS Simply consists of 3 icons. The first icon is the icon of the game, where you can go into the charger Game menu and choose the games you have stored on your microSD card. You'll be greeted by a list on the top screen of the Nintendo DS Lite indicating names of games you have stored. By using your directional pad, you can scroll up or down in the play list and select the game you want load by pressing your button. You will be asked to press the button again if you have not yet created a File Save for the match. Save the file is a small file created on the fly on your M3 DS Simply which can store all your game saves. Once done, you'll see the loading bar Game progress in the lower screen of the Nintendo DS. Games load in just a second or two. This is the place you load homebrew games or applications.

The second menu is the Media Manager. Media Manager allows you to upload your favorite songs in MP3, video files (yes, all DVD movies can be compressed and put on your microSD card) and JPG images and ebooks. You drag and drop ebooks, or mp3 files video from your PC to the microSD card you use in your M3 DS Simply, but it essentially. The application running the Media Manager MoonShell is called, and it turns your Nintendo DS Lite hand held system Full Blown multiple media entertainment. If you're like me, and read eBooks on the go, then this is a MUST. And you can throw your iPod too, because your Nintendo DS is now just an ebook, portable music player. Not to mention the fact you'll be able to watch movies on the go, with construction in the feature movie player.

The final option under the M3 DS Simply is the BOOT SLOT 2 Option. This option allows you to charge whatever game cartridge or the cartridge flash you in Slot 2 of your Nintendo DS Lite. Slot 2 is the port on Game Boy Advance your NDS console. You can even buy a separate cartridge Homebrew and really exploit the full potential of your Nintendo DS with thousands of games homebrew Game Boy Advance and applications.

In conclusion, the M3 DS Simply is a must have accessory that truly opens the full potential of your Nintendo Nintendo DS and DS Lite game system of hands. Offering not only to thousands of free games and homebrew applications, but adds a full suite multi media features and functionality to your Nintendo DS.

gameboy advance sp?

I heard they stopped doing gameboy advance games and systems. So, does anyone know where I can get a gameboy sp less than 100 new brands. Do not say eBay. They also live in us. Nintendo.com but I tried not sell them. I tried Walmart and Kmart. I do not want an auction site. I have a DS and I just want a sp.

Go to your local Gamestore selling old games and old game systems. I should probably sell.
