The information in this guide will show you how easily copy your PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games and how to play burned PS2 games on your PS2 system. You will find all the information you need burn backup copies of PlayStation 2 game discs. First you will need to have the following: a personal computer with a CD burner CD, CD-R blanks (non-CDR-RW). You will also need CDRWIN, Fireburner and CPS2 Patcher software installed.
Burn PS2 Game

1. Insert the original game in the CD.
2. Open the application CDRWIN and click the Extract Disc / Sectors Tracks / button.
* Set the following commands at the computer screen.
* To Exact mode, select the disk image / Cue Sheet.
* For playback options, select Raw.
* For Error Recovery, select Abort.
* Fixed jitter, select Automatic.
* To Subcode analysis, select Auto.
* Ensure that the speed data and audio gear are the same.
* Read Retry Count, enter "0".
* To Subcode Threshold, enter 300.
* Ensure that the drive to keep your PS2 game is selected.
* Ensure that the file name of the game came in, and press the Start button
Note: If the game disc is scratched, the CDRWIN will not be able to read and see a message appears stating "Unable to read section xxxx-xxxxx of disk .* If this happens, try cleaning the disc. If the message reappears after have cleaned the disc, use a separate copy of the same game to complete the process.
3. Once CDRWIN is complete, click OK and exit CDRWIN.
4. Open the PS2 Patcher, select the game file you just created, select the RAW, and patch it.
5. Close the Patcher PS2 Fireburner open, and click on Visual Cue Burner.
6. If the file. CUE contains the name of the game, drag the window Fireburner. If it has not been created, drag the BIN. Fireburner file in the window.

5. Remove the floppy Gameshark for PS2 and insert your game burned.
6. Gently push the CD tray in the closed position, being careful not to not press the eject button.
7. Slide the white tab to the left back to its original position, using a paper clip if necessary.
8. Thanks to tab back into its original position, press X on the PS2 controller, and observe as loads your burned PS2 game.
