The Madden Curse – Why Brett Favre could be the first to break!
For all the uninformed out there on the season Football has a curse lurking over his shoulder. Many athletes refuse to acknowledge it, but it exists. The evidence is too overwhelming. Well Sure, we talk about the Madden curse.
What is the so-called "Madden Curse", you might ask? Well the curse Madden is what happens to every athlete is displayed on the cover of the latest edition of the video very popular John Madden football game series. What happening? Quite simply, they get hurt! They could get hurt for a game, or in the example of Michael Vick Atlanta Falcons former quarterback, they lose their athletes for damn near all year! Michael Vick has been featured on Madden '04 and the athlete was Atlanta Falcons lost to a knee injury during their 04-05 season! Never mind the seriousness of the injury or the duration of the injury, it seems that both that the athlete is injured, the Madden curse is satisfied! A little known fact is that not only affect the Madden curse star athlete on the cover, it also affects the team that the athlete is on!
Case, the cover of Madden 2006 featured quarterback Donovan McNabb of Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles were fresh from their Super Bowl run last year against the Patriots in New England, (we'll get into that later) and expectations were high among fans of the Eagle (myself included), for the team to return to the Super Bowl, this time to win! Unfortunately it should not be. I knew it would be a bad year because of the curse Madden. And when I say this to those less informed that I said, 'You're crazy We're all the way to the Super Bowl! ". This year Eagle team barely made the playoffs and we lost Donovan McNabb for a good part of the season to various injuries. Now, the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was susposed to be on the cover Madden also that year. And at the last minute, for any reason, respectfully declined. Think about it. The Patriots of New England had the Monick of "Dynasty" exerted on them after their victory against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, because it was their third Super Bowl victory in four seasons. Thus, "Dynasty" is a precise title for the team. But while the whole "Dynasty" run, not a single member Patriots' Super Bowl win was on the cover of Madden '02 '06 At all. Is it not strange to you? A quarter of the Super Bowl does not want to be featured on the cover of Madden! A good number of athletes from the NFL, is featured on the cover of Madden is one of the most honors that can happen to you as an NFL player! Why not win the Super Bowl quart appear on the cover of the football video game most popular the world? Hmmmmm ……
They also said that in the same year, MVP of the 2006 season in the NFL, running back Thomas Ladanian fan base together San Diego have signed a petition against him to be on the cover of Madden, because they did not want to hurt him. Coincidence? I think not! If had to go investigate from the year that NFL athletes were first placed on the cover of Madden, you will find that each athlete Featured were injured this year. There is everything to make reference to many examples to prove the curse Madden and we could again and again but I'll give you a reason for Brett Favre could be the first to break it!
Brett Favre activities were out of season was the result of a man who had not himself searched before retiring. His retirement, in my opinion, was a decision emotional instead of physical. For this reason, Brett Favre retired too early, and after finding he had made a mistake, decided he wanted to come back! Only one problem, the Green Bay Packers have changed! And thus, Brett Favre is now New York Jet! If you look at the coverage Madden '09's, it's Brett Favre on the cover of a Green Bay Packer uniform. As I said before, it seems that the Madden curse effects on the athlete and the team, if on the same team throughout the year. Because Brett is now on the Jets in New York, we are in new territory here! Does this mean that Green Bays' new quarterback Aaron Rogers will have a bad year? Does this mean that the Packers Green Bay is designed to have a bad year? We do not know! We know that Brett Favre is on the cover of a Green Bay uniform and therefore I think the curse is finally broken! This could mean that the Jets could have a bad year! I do not know what's going to happen! But will be an interesting year. Just hope that next year your favorite athlete NFL is not on the cover of Madden!

How to beat a 3 Cover at Madden Football or in general?
My nephew is only 13 years, I have 23 years. All it does is run a 3 Cover of different backgrounds and for some reason I can not get any long pass completions. His crime is always consistent in the works of money I can defend, but I can not to the points as I would like. Any experienced Madden players out there, play football enthusiasts, please help me Lil 'sh * t.
attack seams in the midfield. Cover 3 has a heavy emphasis on blocking the routes but also high for weeks in the range of 8-15 yards in midfield. A route inside inclined or login to start. Throw the ball like its coming WR until the end of that area, but still covered. Kind of hard to explain, but I hope that helps. Also this works better when using 3 or 4 wide formations and you shoot the third or fourth WR / TE – you want the outside of two wide receivers that routes high or deep comebacks to pull back even further deep zones and open seams. Hold rb to block if they are receiving pressure or send a quick route for their return checkdown.
