new nintendo system

Should I buy the Wii because Nintendo's new system could go next year?
I want a Wii, but do not want to waste money on a system when it could be a new system coming out next year.
HD version is ready for a possible release in 2010 or 2011, but is basically the same system a little better graphics and a high definition output and a bigger hard drive possible, are the only differences so if you need high-definition graphics or are planning to buy a bunch of downloadable games then wait, if not now then buy the wii currently uses SDHD hold cards and games are available up to 32 gigabytes of hard drive is not really a selling point IMO – plus the price at least equal to the ps3 with less features and in spring Sony will sell a wand type of motion controller like the Wii Wii also so that all current is a good option (unless you are a player hardened, then I recommend a PlayStation 3 instead)
