I try to find a room for improvement in practice. Sounds strange, but it will enable them, if they believe they can control if they give up another 2 points. Tell them honestly why not win and get pumped about fixing it. For example, if they failed a penalty that could have a day when the pizzas and criminal practice. Teach them it's fun to work on his game. That's what it takes to respond to adversity. This has always worked for me when I coached children.
