You may think it's a joke, but im absolutly serious, you can have a Wii-kend curtiousy games console Wii!
This is not a new idea that has actually been done before on other hard to find items and items that are cheaper abroad that they are here in the United Kingdom.
The Wii-kend idea happened since mid last year, as far as I can judge it May have been going longer than that.
This is my son who actually told me about when he went on a fag (cigarette) weekend in November in Benidorm Spain. He was there with his buddies and he saw someone who was recognized from the house but didn't acually know his name. He approached him and asked who it came quickly. He said he was here on a weekend Wii, my son had an idea of what it was about a he was there for something similar.
He asked how much he paid and what is left of it, "he said just a free weekend with boys.
It works like this, you find a cheap flight, theres a cost of £ 49 on FlyBe fly from Birmingham to 7 hours on Saturday morning. The hotel cost £ 30 by the rate specail night for two people. Already cost £ 64 for the flight and accommodation. Arrival at hotel Benidorm at about 12pm. The first thing they did was go to shop to buy 10 of the Wii as there were ten of them during the trip.
They paid 300 euro each for the Wii about 180 pounds. Apparently, there is every console you can get to the place they went. DS games console and Xbox were in abundance. They went to get the Wii first because the weekend was based on their purchase of a Wii. Apparently, they did it work first and rang first to ensure there was a supply in Benidorm before flying if it was unnecessary.
Wii and it was purchased, the weekend could start in earnest. Back to Wii hotel safe at the hotel safe and they went out on the town for the night. The next day they were relaxing on the beach, then followed Man Utd in one of many football Benidorm Bars to offer.
Last few beers in the bar, back to the hotel to take the case and the Wii and the way to the airport take the 7.30pm flight back to UK.
These figures are based on the cost of my son who would be similar to the guys on the Wii-kend. £ 64 flight and accommodation £ 50 on a good evening, including food, total £ 114. Now, once all the host of the Wii on Ebay and all recovered say £ 300. So £ 114 over £ 180 cost of the Wii equivalent to 294 pounds. Thus, sales of the Wii has covered the entire cost of the weekend, Abit better than going the nearest commercial center of the city. Only thing was that they were 2-pin plugs but it did not matter because they work perfectly well be a converter or change to 3-pin.
