In early 2003, Nintendo has updated the Game Boy Advance giving it an internal front light that can be on or off a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and a folding case approximately half the original size. It was designed to address some common complaints with the original Game Boy Advance which was criticized for being very uncomfortable. The Game Boy Advance SP is also come with a new LCD screen and much promise for improved gameplay.
Around the same time as the release of Game Boy Micro, Nintendo released a new backlit version of the SP in North America (commonly referred to as GBA SP "+"). The switch that controls the light now toggles between "normal" (which itself is already brighter than the screen of the Original Game Boy Advance SP), and "brilliant", an intense level of brightness similar to a LCD TV.
In September 2005, Nintendo has released a second redesign Game Boy Advance. This model, dubbed the Game Boy micro, is similar in style to the horizontal orientation of the original Game Boy Advance, but it is much smaller and thinner. The Game Boy micro also allows the user to switch between several colored facades to allow customization, a feature that advertised heavily around the launch of Nintendo Game Boy Micro. Nintendo also hoped that this "mode" feature will help target audiences outside of video game players in point, as its new Wii console. Unlike the previous Game Boy Advance models, Game Boy Micro is unable to support Game Boy and Game Boy Color.
Competitors Nintendo on the notebook market were the Neo Geo Pocket Color, Bandai Swan Crystal, Game Park 32, Tapwave Zodiac and the Nokia N-Gage. Despite the best efforts of competitors, Nintendo maintained its majority market share with the Game Boy Advance.
To date, Nintendo has sold 80,500,000 units in the GBA world. More than half the people in the Americas and 16 million in Japan in second place.
The Game Boy Advance has become the modern flagship of sprite to based games. With superior equipment to the Super NES it has proven that sprite-based technology could improve and live side side with 3D gaming consoles today. The Game Boy Advance has not only its PLATFORMERS typical, but a huge collection of SNES-style RPG. It is also become a system for players of the old school because of the increased amount raised from different games: 8-bit and 16-bit era prev. Through the use of flash cartridges and emulators the Game Boy Advance can even play NES and TurboGrafx-16 games, and the AGI-based Sierra On-Line PC adventure games.
Nintendo owners enjoy a wide selection Nintendo Game Sports, action and adventure in the simulation, Strategy and Edutainment.
The best selling game of all time is Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, released in March 2003 has been sold to over 13 million copies.

I own a PS3, a computer and a DS, so I can only answer for those platforms. PS3: I liked Assassin's Creed on PS3, great game, interesting plot, beautiful graphics PC: I have five favorites for this platform – Bioshock, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, Condemned: Criminal Origins, Fallout 3 and definitely TES: Oblivion. All games are simply incredible graphics, detailed and complex diagrams, easy gameplay hard and long hours game. Condemned is the most feared of all the games, but after a while you find yourself really get into the kind of thing happens sick hidden. A good amount of gore however. DS: Zelda: Phantom Hourglass will not be the best graphics, but will keep you hooked on addictive mini-games and a good argument in general with some situations funny. Also, if you are in games CSI or crime in general, CSI: Dark Motives is a good game, to solve crimes through science and interaction with all the characters of CSI. I own a N64 and I had so many games, but here are my favorites: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – one of my favorite games always done. It combines beautiful scenery, totally free and characters you encounter into. Many hours spent playing. Goldeneye: 007 – that was a big fan of films James Bond in time for this game comes out is a must-buy. Habitual FPS action with some very funny scenes and multiplayer option, accurate weapons and challenging missions as well as my favorite characters from the movie. Banjo Kazooie – A final N64 game, I played all day until I finished. It has cheesy elements to it, but you are unaware that focus on winning the game.
