Nintendo Game Consoles
Nintendo Game Consoles

Game consoles are now in our lives for at least 5 years. The systems have come and gone and we are now on our new generation of consoles, which include the Nintendo Wii. Who has taken a novel and gave the user more control on the character she plays with. We then horses the two powers that the Xbox 360 which was created by Microsoft themselves and the ever so successful Sony Playstation 3. But forget the current consoles can to dive deep into time and learn what happened to console the nation loved and who will win the first place.
Lets first start in the 80s where the console gaming boom began, a relatively new Japanese company has released a game console to the nation called Famicom. This eventually became a worldwide hit and was eventually renamed NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) for dominance in America and the United Kingdom. It is while we were the first to characters such as Mario and Donkey Kong are still a global brand. On another company relatively small, on behalf of Sega, which has created a new game console called the Master System, which was supposedly designed to eliminate the NES, but it has never really got any kind of significant market share.
Turning to the fourth generation of consoles and that is where Sega wanted to do things, they have delivered the ultimate 16-bit console called the Mega Drive. The Mega Drive has given us the likes of Sonic and the system quickly put implemented globally. A year later, and the console war has reached a peak of all time with Nintendo also releasing there new generation system called SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) console war was now hotter than ever.
As we enter the fifth generation of a new competitor seems to be lurking in the background! Sega meanwhile, were set to release a new mindset system called the Sega Saturn, the first system to use a CD-Rom as the standard game play mode. Unfortunately Kidney Sega as a leader in there such key at its end. The first Sony console was born and was called the Playstation, this console is born of a bitter dispute with Sony and Nintendo, like Sony have been due to create a CD add-on for the SNES, but Nintendo backed out and went to Phillips. Sony Playstation was then officially born with this unmatched technology, the camera moved 100 million consoles and the console becomes the most successful in history.
Meanwhile Nintendo had to act and act quickly as Sony have been increasingly dominant, then they released the N64 which broke all the consoles power treatment twice, but Nintendo still using cartridges which was a drawback.
We turn now to the sixth generation of consoles and with the dominance of Sony, we have finally fixed the legendary Sega console once to rest. There last effort came in the form of the Sega Dreamcast, but Sony's domination was too difficult to manage, would there be anyone who can stop them? As the Dreamcast wring the neck Microsoft has published the first time there console finally took some market share of Sony Playstations. Sales were once again the race but it seemed as though Nintendo heading towards the same fate as Sega, as there fourth GameCube became a flop due to insufficient production of games. Sony and Microsoft have Head to Head.
Finally today saw the rebirth of Nintendo as they launch there of the innovative Wii console has been a great success. Slowly behind their Playstation 3 from Sony, the console and it now seems that even if Sony is suffering because they have more positive grip on the market. Microsoft has taken the ahead with the Xbox 360.
Well overall, I think it is generally not a great console, all have been there all the time and have worked well because there kind. What is the eighth generation of consoles have to offer? Who knows, with the richest companies in the mix May we see a new generation of consoles, with Google being my favorite.
