A young man dressed in green. Elfin Pointy-like ears. A powerful sword slung on his back. And the weight of the world on his shoulders. Those of us who have played the Legend of Zelda video games on various Nintendo consoles have been fans of the series since the first time we played the game. It is a love beyond definition for die hard fans of Zelda. Is it the music that creeps into your mind and play again and again for no reason? The game vanguard we presented all the underground mazes where monsters and creatures hiding and haunt us for days? Or is it the classic story of applause on good practices to triumph over evil and the boy to save his daughter? Whatever the reason, Zelda fans are hooked, and have been since 1987.
The third installment in the Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a revolutionary game of its own. Released in 1991 in Japan and in 1992 the United States, the game resumed upside down See gaming experience familiar to players of the original Legend of Zelda. Following on the NES, Link's Awakening, used a side-scrolling game play familiar to fans of the series Super Mario Bros. and the most games on the NES. This allowed the player to see everything around them within the screen before proceeding to the next. The game play moved along a standard grid, where you played in one box, and when you moved to the edge of it to go in a different domain, Link moved to another square.
Another new addition to the Zelda franchise has been the addition of another parallel world to the real world in. Link Link is able to move forward back between Light and Dark World, which was once the Sacred Realm before evil moved in. However, players are greeted by the sight of link as a pink bunny if they attempt to enter the World of Darkness, before obtaining the Moon Pearl. Depending on where the player tried to move between the worlds determined where they would appear in the world in the face, often unlocking various secrets were out of reach of any otherwise. This concept could be central to the plot in another successful installment Zelda Ocarina of Time.
The main characters the original legend of Zelda are present in Link to the Past, but some have a face-lift for the new capabilities of the Super Nintendo. Link is good course, always the main antagonist, but it is the first Zelda game, which plays an active enough role in his own rescue. Link goes to Hyrule Castle to her rescue and she is able to communicate telepathically with him to tell him where she is. It also provides links to a sword and shield when he finds, and follows on the dungeons. Ganon is still there as the enemy has always dark, but players do not realize this fact until much later in the match. The character Agahnim is the link enemy thinks he fights, but in the final battle Ganon game flows from the broken body of Agahnim.
A Link to the Past is another ground breaking Nintendo game in the early 1990s, selling over 4.5 million copies. The game has been reissued Game Boy Advance in 2002 as a game of combinations with Four Swords, and has also been recently re-released as a downloadable title on Wii. Players can still play the game without their SNES and related functional and employing latest graphics and audio technology. He was voted top of a game by Many magazines and play lists, and is a classic in the vein of all the Zelda series. This game is a must have for any fan of Zelda, and any fan of video games.
