The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a portable game console that was launched by its Sony May 11, 2004. Although the controls of the PSP were specifically for gaming, this gaming console from Sony is able to effectively play the video and audio files. The battery life by default the PSP is different for different applications. If you access the wireless network and the screen brightness is set at maximum, the battery life is less than 3 hours. However, the batteries last for more than 11 hours if the MP3 mode is used without turning the backlight of the screen. If you wish to extend the life of your battery, you can keep the PlayStation in sleep mode, the minimum amount of battery is used this way.

What does not only PlayStation longer battery life, but also provides a sophisticated user-friendly interface and easy. The XrossMediaBar (also called XMB) interface is main menu. The same interface has been used by Sony in its TVs, the PlayStation 3, and PSX hardware. The main menu options are horizontally arranged icons for settings, music, game networking, video and photo. A sequence of icons arranged vertically in is displayed under these options.

You can also adjust the settings of the XMB. Surf the Internet, audio playback, and video games, or just connect it your PC at home. The interface is easy to access, you do not need to work hard for it. All you need do is simply press the 'Home' button. The background colors of the default Sony PlayStation keep changing every month. However, if you want, you can adjust manually or color also set an image background. Currently, There are about 10 themes that official Wipeout, Lemmings, cookies, etc.

To conclude, just from a friendly and attractive interface for video games and audio-video features, the Sony PSP was almost the best set of tools and features that can be searched in a multi console.

I If you agree with the first 2 answers UMD are useless, but one or two, and U can put Windows Vista and stuff on him including the radio, no internet, just get a gd memory, are very expensive my 1GB was 35 pounds, but my fellow GT 4 GB per 10 pounds of eBay, I suggest u do what he did lol!
