I have a Linksys wireless router 2.4 ghz my ps3 4 about 30 feet away, but receive no signal wat do I buy or do?
Be the router works BC had connected two of the rooms, play station 3 B4 changed the router is connected to a cable modem in my computer now the PS3 is much more I can not get away and wanted to get connected with my sign of confusion and constantly connected or disconnected wat I can not make or buy rediculus $.
If you receive a weak signal that keeps disconnecting, then it will probably be fine if you get a high gain antenna for the router. These run about $ 20. If you receive a signal, or can not even connect then you probably need to get either a wireless bridge or access point, these operate at $ 70 + If want really cheap, you can make your own antenna; Take a Coke can and remove the top. Cut the sides of the can and fan the slices. Now make a hole at the bottom and place antennas on the router so that protrudes through. Target is where your PS3. This could boost the signal up to 20% (but weaken the range of the signal in other directions). Oh, and see the edges are sharp!
