You can change the data by turning off the system for saving, or remove the card or driver at the same time savings. So basically dont touch anything until it's done saving. However, from your description it sounds like the problem is the memory card. Its been my experience that third party memory cards just flat suck. I had three different capacities of this and other good things wouldnt save, or was corrupted. I only suggest buying the memory card from Sony. He can not have a lot of space and a bit expensive, but never had a problem with them.
