There are great advantages to buying new and used games for any console. However, there are some games and some times when you want to buy a new game or game used for PS3.
If you're on a budget then you want certainly buy used games because they are the cheapest on the two obviously. If you have a little more to spend, then you can pick the route more dear to most of your money. Even if you're not on a budget, you can buy new games if you're a fan of a particular game or series like Madden. If you are not that spectacular on some games, but you are still considering, then you can wait a while, then it habit so you can reduce your cost at least $ 10.
The recent games, in my opinion, are for those of you who are Players Extreme and you're used to a particular game or series of games. If you're just a fan of general play, then you'll want to leave and get used games so you can maximize your money and not having to spend much money on games that you do not care much.

Well the Xbox 360 Elite has some great games like Halo, Gears of War, and some really great games that are ideal for the Internet. But the PS3 does not have really that many games online. But they have some really great games for one player.
