Which is better Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?

I tried an Xbox and I really liked. but my sister says PS3 has better graphics. I've been trying doing some research, but all comments are outdated. I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I like a lot of games already available for both. so I would like a decent amount of memory. definitely not the arcade version of the Xbox.
