New HDTV need to connect to a DirecTV DVR-component cable again?
Our new HDTV has 3 video input options, and you're done for normal video yellow, white / red audio configuration, while the other two have red / green / blue video inputs. I found a cable components for our PlayStation so that our image is of higher quality, while games / watch movies, but I do not know whether to make a component cable to the DVR without having to get a HD box and upgrade to HD channels. I know I should be able to pick up the component cable for the PlayStation 2 in any store really, but would able to get one for the DVR in the city for example, a circut? Any help would be great, since I am a relatively technologically stupid:) Thanks guys. I got it all worked now. I just received a component cable for the PlayStation 2 and am using the regular red / yellow / white cables from the DVR
They make connections DVR components unless they are HD / s. DVR 'The back of your DVR is likely that only has composite (yellow, white and red) and coaxial (cable normal has to rotate in and looks like a lightning bolt or screw). You have to update, but is completely worth it. In addition, the TV must have one or two other connection called HDMI.
