Why Final Fantasy for PlayStation disc has more than other game consoles?
How is that a reduced number of disk Final Fantasy for the PlayStation 2 and 3? What more do disc for PlayStation 1 finalfantasys.
It is a combination of two things: 1) The space disk. PS1 on 650MB CDs. PS2 DVD were 4.6 or 8.5 GB. Details on PS3 Blu-Rays are the greatest. 2) FF7 was spread across 3 discs, but only 200 MB on each disk are the game data (and was the whole game on each disc). The rest of each disk is pre-rendered scenes (which occupy a large amount of space). PS2 Final Fantasies had pre-rendered very few scenes, instead of using the game's graphics engine, which takes very little disk space.
