San Lorenzo a great place for Italian food and Calcio
There are places where one is not always welcome because we can be rich or famous, but simply because they showed and a taste that is found and the people. The kind of place I have in mind is that where customers mingle with each other in an atmosphere that is not created by anyone in particular but by small things, for example, how customers are saying "ciao" (Hi or goodbye in Italian) to another whenever coming or going or how which everyone knows the name. It is these and many other details that make the bar-restaurant "San Lorenzo" located in the center of Warsaw, "John Paul 2nd Street" is precisely the kind of place.
I speak a place where the Italians and their descendants, like me, or even people with no traces of being Italian, so that never never denied the affability and joy that is in the Italian table. This stake in San Lorenzo real because of its principal owner, Gianfranco which is equally charming when talking to the President of Poland (which can repeatedly There is a snack lasagna) that when we speak of the smallest of guests.

I had even been to this particular location before I knew to have two stories that I had visited on many occasion when it was used both as a clothing store who was the party to the floor and a cafeteria on the lower floor.
The interior, I had admission was more beautiful then it was, but I was always curious to see if the owner is Italian, so after watching the place both top and bottom, I went outside again to join my wife and daughter had already been used.
Tiramisu ordered my daughter a taste the real thing (it allows me a small taste), but I needed proof as to the authenticity of this place.

One of the things that impressed me about this particular visit was that many of the guests that I had not yet introduced myself who saw me sitting at my desk or walking around the place with my daughter seemed to know who I was. They knew my name, I was a writer Born in New York but could speak Italian because of my father and many other things all what I had said the gentleman with red hair in short conversation I had with him.
Another thing that attracted the attention of my wife and myself (my daughter being young at the time) was the pictures on the walls of all the famous people who have been there. Then, the place to be open within one year only photographs of local celebrities such as Kasia Figura (Polish actress), but ultimately this collection of photographs has grown to include these patterns significant as Jose Carreras, Steven Segal, Roman Polanski, Alexander Kwasniewski (then President of Poland), Lech Kaczynski (current president of Poland) and his brother Jaroslaw (Current Prime Minister of Poland) and many others too numerous to mention.
The evening was a delight to 3 of us for many reasons, but mostly it was the Italian kitchen. The dishes we tasted, not only that night, but on many other to follow were the true taste of Italy and it is with intent to influence anyone should go to San Lorenzo after reading this that I refrain mentioning any by name.
The year was 2001, which, as can be expected was followed by 2002. This has been one year cutting the world has seen the greatest enthusiasm for the "Squadra Azurri" as his fans mostly Italians but not only gathered at San Lorenzo for show their support for what would be the fiasco of being eliminated by South Korea before entering the quarterfinals. As the saying goes "It is always darkest before the dawn" which means that the time would come as Italy last year at the Cup of the World 2006 that took place in Germany. This was the World Cup in which Italy claimed his fourth world championship after FIFA 7 games the last two being the most challenging of all.
The last two games will be more difficult because they were the semi-finals and finals. It was The first of these games which pitted Italy against Germany, the home team and three-time champion and finalist seven times. The second of these games pitted Italy against France, who had won all of 98 while the team that we had eliminated the 86 and 98 world cups and we had beaten in the final 2000 European Championships.
It was the way San Lorenzo was packed with all the people I had ever seen on a weekly basis for the last 5 years, which gave me the courage to believe that the opponents could be overcome. These people, after all had been with me through the tragedy that had been the previous World Cup, at least as far as Italy was concerned.
The semifinal against Germany was difficult to watch as we suffered the agony of seeing two of our shots hit the post in overtime, but all this was the moment that allowed us to shout the word "goal" in an extensive action relief that Italy was finally able to break the deadlock through Grosso who scored the last minute of OT. But the game was not finished, nor has the rating, which still less than a minute later when Del Piero found the back of the net for what would be Germany's second goal, we guarantee a place in the final.

Italy win the World Cup was wonderful and it would probably have been such, no matter where and with whom I had seen (as had been in 82 when we beat Germany in the last 3 to 1) but for some reason, I felt that being in San Lorenzo is it fair that all little better especially because all those familiar faces were there to share it with me.

There is an anime store in the mall. It is a small and until after the restaurant area, but my 16 its manufactures a bee line right every time we go to the mall. They have to have something there.
