Gamespot Review for Professor Layton and Pandora's box
Professor Layton and Pandora's Box is the second of three games adventure Professor Layton that Level 5 is planning to release for the Nintendo DS. While the first game, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, is expected to be released in the U.S. this December, the second game is almost ready to be launched in Japan. And level 5 showed off a long trailer for her show her here.
Professor Layton games are conceptually very similar to adventure games American, in that you travel around and try to pierce a mystery while taking part in numerous mini-games and puzzle sequences. (Game One apparently included almost 2,000 individual puzzles.) In this game, Jack Layton and his youthful charge discover the body of a man who died early in the game. Their investigation of the take on board the Molentary Railway Express, where they begin questioning the passengers and eventually end up in an old castle where rules mysterious but probably evil lord. Jack Layton and the Lord finally wind tearing a Swordfight possibly the fate of the mysterious Pandora's box.
Obviously, all text and voice-overs here were in Japanese, so it was a little difficult to follow the thread of things. Apparently, the personalities known are involved in providing voices for the game, so it's good. Anyway, between talking to people, he is also currently being another great series of puzzles and mini-games to pass here. We have seen a couple of these puzzles; seemed effectively involve packing a bag for your travel, while another had you serving breakfast buns for lunch some of the other passengers.
