The Wii codes you need to know is the Wii console and Wii Friend Code. When you are prompted for a Wii code, it is usually one of them.
The Wii console and online games have different codes. Every Wii console has a 16 digit code for the system itself. The console Wii code is used to send messages to your friends.
Each game uses the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection creates a 12-digit code only friend who can be exchanged with friends and used to maintain lists of friends in each individual match. It's a bit annoying to have to whenever you get a new game, but once your registered and you saved your friends, you're in the clear.
You use your Wii code when sending messages to friends via the message board in the Wii menu, and you use the code on each individual game for the Wi-Fi play. Go to your code is different for each of your games. Only some games are playable WiFi, so check the back of the box if you do know.
How do you know what your friend code for Wii?
I'll walk with my Wii.
First, go to the place with all channels (Wii Menu)
Secondly, on the lower right corner, you'll see an envelope (Wii Message Board) click it.
Thirdly, on the bottom of your left hand, right next to the calendar, you will see an icon of a piece of paper with a black pen on it (create message) click it.
Fourth, click the third choice to the right (address book), then click on it. Your code will be there friend. It will said: "This console Wii Number"
Your code is as follows: 1234 – 5678 – 9012 to 3456.
Your Friend Code is in line for your friends. Thus, if you want just one person at random as your only friend online, give them your friend code. If you want to add friend codes, sign up, click (also in Address Book) and enter the code in your friend's friend.
Many games have additional features that are allowed between the two friends entered. These may include matching custom options, cooperative play, friends lists, text chat and voice chat.
If a user needs to replace its DS system, then the old system Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID can be transferred wirelessly, to maintain the original user on friend codes the new machine.

Considering just, know the life of internal parts, warranty should give you an idea. and something to consider. If I were to buy something of this nature in the condition of use, which would require a time frame that is expected more use of technology for my purchase price.The is recent, but the buyer is not buying that technology.
