What kind of gift do they like for Christmas?
I work in an elementary school and rainy winter in our beautiful country not allowing children to play in the garden. So I'm always looking for activities to occupy children.
Last week, a rainy day, children were not able to play in the garden, so I tried to entertain them in asking them what they wanted as a gift from St. Nicolas.
Belgian people – and in the Netherlands, Germany, France and some Eastern European countries – to celebrate and consecrate Saint Nicolas (Sinterklaas) for children. Saint Nicolas is the great patron of scholars and into our homes on December 6th.
A week before December 6 every night, Saint Nicolas brings candy in good children's slippers (traditional version) or one month before December 6, it brings many more sweets in the slippers of our children good (the commercial version).
Shopping malls also organize areas of San Nicolas who are to present scenes made toys such as trains or simulating real situations homes full of old-fashioned dolls. Children also have the opportunity to meet Saint-Nicolas and their list of gifts for him.

December 5 Eve, parents and children dress up the dining room table with a plate full of cookies and a glass of milk from Saint Nicolas, a carrot for the donkey.

It seems that children have an immoderate passion for video game consoles such as Playstation (3 course) and Wii … while the heroes of American comic books become the heroes of Belgian children.
Here are the toys kids want to receive as a Saint-Nicolas or Christmas gift:
For boys and girls aged 10 and over:

If they received the video game console already, they wish to receive video games, like Dragon Ball, Street Fighter, Medal of Honor … The young generation seems to like violent games.
Boys aged 4 and 10:

– Cartoon Heroes accessories
Girls aged between 4 and 10 years:
– Barbie
– A Doll's House
– Accessories doll
– Books
Some of these kids love music and they asked St. Nicolas or Santa Claus (sometimes both) to provide them electric guitar or drums.
A romantic young girl wishes to receive a newspaper like Bridget Jones.
As for my old son fifteen years, he asked for books. What kind of books? Manga comics.
All children want to receive: chocolate, marzipan, candy, etc.
Finally, traditions are important to our children away from St. Nicolas and no time for Christmas without candy.

Great original Playstation game?
I recently came across a small collection of old playstation 1 games used to play as a child, and I thought it would be a good idea to collect and keep them safe. May be useful someday. Anyway, there's this local store and sell old retro games for the N64 and PS1, and more. Do I have to recommend games specifically for the PS1? Currently I have Spiderman, Spiderman 2: Enter Electro, Crash Bandicoot 1-3, Crash Team Racing, Spyro 1-3, Croc 1 and 2, fully Angelica (were my sisters, I swear), Rayman, A Bug's Life, Final Fantasy IX, and I'm looking for Gex.
