A brief history of T-shirts you wear in Tampa FL

In the first half of 1950s Hollywood star John Wayne, Marlon Brando and James Dean started to wear the t-shirt only and not as screen jersey. In the movie Rebel Without a Cause in 1955, James Dean made wearing a T-shirt as a fashion shirt outside. This signaled the rage at t-shirt adolescents which eventually spread to all age groups.
Around the same time, it was made in Miami, Florida, where companies have emerged selling t-shirts silkscreened with station names and characters from Walt Disney. This was done under license, course.
In 1959, plastisol was invented. The ink is flexible and more durable than the inks used in the previous print t-shirts, thus expanding the possibilities for designing t-shirt. It was just time for swinging rock and roll 1960, when the t-shirts practically become the clothing that young people were living in.

Today, no can call t-shirts "small" pieces of clothing. They found a rightful place alongside other fashion functional types such as Polo shirts and golf shirts.
