Super Nintendo (SNES) – The golden age of video games
The Super Nintendo (SNES) is considered by many as the "Golden Age "of video games. This brought the console gaming world in a whole new world by the introduction game concepts and ideas. It focused mainly on the game rather than graphics, and is still popular to date among Nintendo fans, collectors, and users of emulation.
History of the Super Nintendo
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System was published in North America in 1991 in the same time as the Sega Genesis. There was a great war going on between the SNES and Sega Genesis. Although the Sega Genesis was released earlier, it gives more choice and lower prices of game, the Super Nintendo held its own. As we all know, in the end Nintendo completely dominated market 16-bit video game and was very popular, even in the 32-bit era.
Nintendo has always been considered more "children" brand of video games. During the war between Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis claimed to have more "adult" games. The result is that Super Nintendo has dominated the Sega Genesis, one can clearly see that the game design and the concept has a meaning much more than age group referred. Nintendo has always focused on creating concepts for new games, even to this day, and is one of the main reasons for great success and sustainability.

The SNES has an ungodly amount of games, including one of the best video games of all time: Super Mario World. Super Mario World was absolutely revolutionary at the time of its release, and is still played by many players, even today, either through the console itself or by a software emulation. The Super Nintendo has also given birth to the first game of Mario Kart. Perhaps one games the most mystical of all time, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the past has been released for the Super Nintendo as a continuation of the original Nintendo.
Quite simply the vital and admit that the list of legendary revolutionary and amazing games released this console is massive. It is safe to say that most of these games do not fall from the radar for many decades to come.
Software Emulation
Because SNES games are no longer in production, emulation software has become extremely popular by being used to play older video consoles. All you need is some kind of adapter USB to fit your Super Nintendo controller or another controller type computer with enough buttons to cover the functions of the SNES.
