Nintendo Wii Mod Chip Guide
Installing a mod chip for Nintendo Wii console opens and gives you a host of new features. The mod chip opens essentially closed some doors on your Nintendo Wii you can install additional software and applications.
The mod chip of course you can play all the games you have downloaded or copied, but thats just the beginning of what you can do. For example, there are a variety of emulators console free download that lets you play classic games from your favorite console of the past, including the Genesis Sega, Super Nintendo and Sony Playstation 1.
The Media Center application is impressive and has the ability to play DivX / Xvid video you throw at it. Using the Wiimote, you'll have access to a comprehensive archive of movies, TV shows and music.
There are 2 Variety of mod chips for Nintendo Wii choose-
Hardware Mod chip – A chip physical mod costs the region $ 50 and must be welded to the inside of the console with precision. This is extremely difficult and should not be attempted if you have no experience with soldering, or you could pay someone to install.
Soft Chip – You can buy these $ 30 and the chip does everythin soft mod chip does. A smart app is easy to install, simply copy it Nintendo Wii Unlike a physical chip mod. The Chip Soft is cheaper to buy, can be installed by anyone and takes less 20 minutes to complete
I have been using the smart soft for some months now, and I'm happier with it. A step by step video tutorial is included if you get stuck, but the installation process is fully automated so you should have no problem. If for any reason you need your Wii repaired under warranty, you can simply remove the chip soft.

So my wii jamed button and I bought the Nintendo Wii a friend for free repair even though Noinsure?

Probably just replace the buttons on the Wii existing. If you send it to Nintendo, which is free if you are still under warranty. If you purchased your Wii less than 12 months (15 months if you register your Wii at the Club Nintendo), which is still under warranty. If you've had the Wii for more than 12 months, or 15 if you register your Nintendo Wii Club, expect to have to pay between $ 25-75. Depending on the nature of the problem, Nintendo can not guarantee that your save data will be safe. I do not think your problem requires Nintendo to mess with circuit board and the data stored, but if you want to be on the safe side you should consider buying an SD card and a copy of your data on the card.
