History of the Super Nintendo
Super Nintendo Entertainment System was released in North America in 1991 around the same time as the Sega Genesis. There was a big war going on between the SNES and Sega Genesis. Although the Sega Genesis was released earlier giving prices it more game selection and lower, the Super Nintendo held its own. As we all know, at the end of Nintendo completely dominated the market 16-bit video game and remained popular even in the 32-bit era.
Nintendo has always been regarded as more "child friendly" brand video games. During the war between Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis claimed to have more "adult oriented" games. The result is Super Nintendo that dominated the Sega Genesis, we can clearly see that the game design and concept has a meaning much more than the targeted age group. Nintendo has always focused on creating new game concepts, even to this day, and it is a major reason for its success immense and lasting.
Notable games
The SNES has an ungodly amount of games, including one of the best video games of all time: Super Mario World. Super Mario World was absolutely revolutionary at the time of its release, and is still played by many players, even today either through the console itself or by software emulation. Super Nintendo also gave birth to the first game of Mario Kart. Perhaps one games the most mystical of all time, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was released for the Super Nintendo as a continuation of the original Nintendo.
Simply saying to the basics and to admit that the list of Revolutionary and legendary games released this incredible console is massive. It is safe to say that most of these games will not make the radar for many decades to come.
Emulation software
Because SNES games are no longer in production, emulation software has become extremely popular by being used to play older video consoles. Emulation software is generally free to download to your computer, you can load all your favorite games. All you need is some sort of USB adapter to fit your Super Nintendo controller or another type of computer controller with buttons enough to cover the functions of the SNES.
The most popular Super Nintendo emulator there is currently the ZSNES emulator. This software will work perfectly on any average computer system today. ZNES even an addon that lets you play with other players over the Internet as if they were sitting next to you. This is really good memories of the old game with friends and family.

In summary, it is not surprising that many consider the Super Nintendo system in the golden age of video games. It's always fun to come back from time to time to play your favorite games from Nintendo, and using software emulation, it is certain that these games will live forever!

How I can get SNES, Sega Genesis, NES and PSone games on my Nintendo DS XL?
