Hello everyone I am new to this new game mode … I always used a playstation … and I decided to upgrade my ps2 for a ps3 .. I installed everything with no probs … fingers crossed … This is a simple question, so simple that some of you might laugh, so here goes: When I turn the PS3 and play a game with a record in the last game of Tomb Raider, is connected to the Internet automatically to the ps3? I thought I would have to physically go on the menu and access the Internet as you would on a PC or Mac? … I know, I know … What an idiot! Thanks for all yuor answers …. although, all I want do, for example, put a disc in and play the game …. Does it make sense to do it? … I do not need the PS3 to connect to the Internet anytime .. Only when I want ….
As long as you have already set up your PSN ID and console information on the PlayStation Network, and the ethernet cable is connected and has a wireless receiver or the PS3, activated at Setup menu, then yes, the line is automatic. If you have everything configured correctly, you just put any game in the drive and it is perfectly into online games and how game menu. If you do not want to mess with the Internet, no, no you have to, just put the disk and go play your game. You never have to log in unless you want PSN.
