It's almost the end of 2009, which means that everyone and every website will be making their lists of year-end. The list of New Year is a popular way for magazines and sites to show how unique and clever they are, with many of them trying hard a list of the more obscure or creative around, namechecking often games or music that nobody has heard of or cares. Hopefully this list is like no other. Here is my list of best games hands down video of 2009 for any system.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3)
A popular choice, but an undeniable one, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, is a historical game that will go down in history as one of the best games of this generation and the best game for the PS3, hands down. The decade was the decade of open world "sandbox" games, so the genre becomes stale and boring. The great thing about Uncharted 2 is how many plays like an old-school platform, jump cliffs, beat the bad guys, but at the same time, it feels so expansive and open world while he is actually pretty linear. The story, the artwork and the voice is in top notch, equal with the best games of this generation, you can build your custom poker chips on it. This was not the only or most creative game, but he polished all the amazing things about PLATFORMERS shooter new generation of games and not before or after it can compare.
2 Space Invaders Extreme (DS)
I'm a fan of simple games and the original Space Invaders is a simple concept as one might find it. You are a spaceship and you pull things exotic. That's about it. In this reboot / remake of the original Space Invaders, developers had the idea, quite simply magnificent shooting Space Invaders and added a lot of flashing lights, techno music, mini-games and weapon upgrades Extreme to make the remake one of the most fun games I've played all year. The great thing about 2 Extreme is that they synchronized until the space ship shooting with music, to almost 2 Extreme rhythm / shooter game like Rez classic. Space Invaders Extreme 2 is proof that you do not have the biggest budget or the best graphics around great great game.
Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360)
Another example of how a developer can do things while taking a winning formula and piling on even more great features to create the ultimate gaming experience. First Left 4 Dead is a revolutionary game in the way you forced to work as a team to survive the hordes of undead, but still 4 Dead 2, the same factor that teamwork is included, but is strengthened even more, with storms and power outages that requires you to keep your group together and develop strategies to stay alive. You will not find most frustrating and fun multiplayer game out there on any what system.

I know the demo starts 9/15/09, but I thought you might 9/9/09 download. I put in # s, but that code invalid or expired.
