Used Game Consoles

In the 50s, when the first computer games appeared, they used vector displays instead of video. However Video Game Consoles have their mark during the mid seventies. Fierce competition between two main game consoles manufacturer of that time – Magnavox and Atari, had resulted in many popular video games like PONG, Odyssey and Smash. These games have grown very popular among the masses and thus paved the way for the next generation game consoles.
Although the route of the first generation of game consoles to the seventh generation has been plagued by crashes and video game market slowdown, the game industry will continue with the ground-breaking games and technologies to overcome the sluggish market. For example, during the video game crash of 1977, almost every game console developer and manufacturer has withdrawn from the business world came when Atari with Space Invaders. The game was an instant success. Space Invader became so popular that most people at that time bought Atari game consoles just for this game one. Also during the slower mid-eighties in the console gaming business, small groups of hit Nintendo game "Super Mario Brothers has not only revived the industry, but also prepared the ground for better graphics and sound of the next generation game consoles.
Among the current crop of game in the seventh generation consoles, three major player rules the total global market, to namely the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii. Computer languages used to program computer games and game consoles?
I'm a fan of video games and I dream of making games Video on game consoles and maybe even the PC. It just occurred to me that I have no idea what programming languages are used to design and run the games. I do not mind doing a bit of programming in advance before doing anything else. So I wanted to know is: Is there anyone there out who knows what I mean? Especially if you happen to be a game programmer who has worked in a best-seller in the title industry? If you really want to know What languages are used to make games in the first place.
A wide range of languages and platforms used, the Assembly of C + + to Java a. NET (C #). To a beginner want to take a look at the Microsoft XNA platform, which enables people to develop games for PC and XBOX360 free. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/xna/default.aspx
