Videogame Consoles
Videogame Consoles

Especially in the U.S. who are always one step ahead in trends in the crisis, but also in our country there is a new way to have fun. With wages and benefits always smaller and lower, on Saturday night now people no longer need to go out and go to the local population have fun.
The latest trend seems to be that of bringing together all in someone's house and organize game nights and entertainment with the help of various games consoles, starting with Nintendo's Wii, which, with its interactive games and suitable for all audiences has become the console in time Shortest sold worldwide 50 million copies.
Despite the crisis, the video game industry does not seem too alarming to save losses. Global share reached 32 billion dollars last year to reduce DVD sales to 29 billion for the first time. It is a sum huge money and will probably continue to grow exponentially in the coming years.
It seems that the video game industry shown to be able to weather the storm better than most others.
Decades ago, when video games first began to appear, especially in states no one will ever expected the overwhelming boom of those years. Dominating the scene in recent years, however, it is especially Japanese companies like Sony with the PlayStation and Nintendo, which with the Wii and DS actually draws the crowds. Both consoles Nintendo society adopted software and games based on sales philosophies very different from the past, this means of spreading the use of consoles, even to segments of society that until now were not interested at all in video games. On the Nintendo DS is then possible to use r4 card game and so many more games.
On April 3, in addition, the CIO is out again, the new jewel in the company Nintendo, with two cameras integrated MP3 player, but it also introduces the possibility to adjust the playback speed (pitch control), a key function for the study foreign languages. We can easily imagine what software – in addition to those of pure entertainment – will be on the market. Ultimately it was also introduced a port to read SD cards.
It is obviously clear difference with the PC market, with prices, such as blank CDs, down Slowly, the industry also seems to feel the first signs of crisis. The decline could be between 11.9% and 4.5% respectively. In this time of crisis seems fairly obvious, but there are also areas which suffer much less to the global economic downturn, such as the laptops appear to be in good health.
For now, it's Nintendo, who exults. Given that even in a time of economic crisis, sales of consoles and its games are booming. But in an industry in the perennial quest for novelty and innovation to meet the tastes of the public, the situation could change at any time. Especially if Sony and Microsoft decided to base their future choices and philosophies adopted by Nintendo for their products.

I have $ 285 and plan to spend on a game console, but what?
Umm i originally was getting a Wii, but now I'm with 2 thougts. I save up and buy something else?
The Wii is more fun when you have someone to play with. Not that you can not enjoy themselves same, but unless you have someone who will play with you often, the system will live up to their full potential. The Xbox 360 has a lot of great games, but will to save for a little more time to pay. I stay out of the PS3. Several game developers are starting to leave the system. Even Sony's own continues to assert the PS3 will be a great platform for several years. I would leave it to mature a bit before investing the money Sony is asking. Another option, if you do not have one, is the Nintendo DS. For $ 285 you can buy the system, some games and have money to spare. You could even buy a copier that flashcart and allow you to download online games and play on your DS. (Although it is illegal to do this with commercial games, there are plenty of homebrew Nintendo DS games that are completely free and legal for use with a copier.)
