Where to find I can mod chips for Xbox 360?
LoL All I want to know is where I can get xbox mod chips for the 360. I know all about 360 and how to work on them.
There are currently two ways to modify the console: 1. DVD drive change (either by reflashing the firmware DVD or by adjusting a 'chip', that there are none that still support the latest drives). This allows you to play backups of games you already own, But do not connect to Xbox Live with it if the value of your connection! This is the most popular modification as all units can be modified. 2. Core 360 manager. This is really new and only really began in the last week or so. If you have a 360 that was manufactured before June 2009 and has not been on Xbox Live Since July 2009 there is every chance that your 360 can be modified to start with another manager, which in turn allows you to run homebrew on it (for example, emulators, media media players etc). You can even backup your games to an external hard drive and play it without needing the disc.
