Tips for buying an Xbox Original

The Xbox is the predecessor of the new Xbox 360 and it was quite successful. He has a great selection of games and introduced some new features to the game as a built in hard drive and play Online. Now that Microsoft has moved to the 360 it may be difficult to find as the original Xbox. So where do you find one? How can I pay? What should I know before buying one? These five tips below will answer these questions and help make your shopping easier Xbox.
1. Consoles cost $ 90 or less: the original Xbox has stopped selling in the U.S. for a price of $ 149.99, but you can find a little cheaper now. Many stores sell consoles Xbox used for less than $ 90. Be sure to shop around because prices can very between stores.
2. Buy Used: Microsoft stopped to the original Xbox in 2005 and most stores do not more new consoles. You can always find new consoles if you really want one but you certainly pay a premium. Fortunately, Microsoft built the Xbox well, so used consoles are still in good shape. The original Xbox console is not as the Xbox 360 that had technical problems and recalls.
3. Do not shop retail stores: You'll most likely lose your time. All over major retailers and video game shops have stopped selling Xbox consoles and games. They moved on newer systems and have no room for it anymore. Some smaller independent video game stores in your area may still carry the Xbox though. GameStop and EBGames do not sell Xbox games that now, not consoles.
4. Shop online: The best place to find an Xbox console and games can be found in stores or online eBay. You can use comparison shopping engines or google to find everything a little Xbox is available. And like the rest of the world, you can find Xbox systems on Ebay too. Be careful when shopping online to ensure you do not pay more for shipping, but especially on eBay. Many retailers have a list of low price for the system, only to charge really high shipping rates.
5. Watch What is Included: The Xbox has been delivered with a controller, an AV cable and AC adapter. You need all three to make the system work so make sure any other sites where you shop say explicitly all three of them are included. Will not you think you've got a good deal on a console to see that this does not include a controller, which will cost more money to buy separately.
Bonus tip: an Xbox is almost nothing without a few games, so try purchase in a store that carries a wide selection of games too. It is not necessary to spend more time finding the game in another store, where you can buy everything in one place. And you'll usually get discounted shipping on games too!
If you meet these five things in mind when shopping for your Xbox you should be able to find much and you save a lot of hassle. Go buy an Xbox and start enjoying some great games the system has to offer.

Game consoles are a dying breed. You may well be seeing the last of the consoles soon. The big boys are doing they will not take any samples to finance to produce as they have done in the past. With PC gaming platforms become so advanced and quick. Software developers for consoles will also leave the market. Look at today's market. You can find about PC gaming vs. console gaming 100-1. The future is in PC gaming. I would like to continue investing in cards high-end video and PC platforms instead of spending money on fashion games console. With that said I have owned an Xbox … given away. Currently owner a Wii …. love the interaction with the system. The Wii is the only console to show future promise.
