Do you know Halo?
Until recently, I answered "No" to this question. So what changed?
Well, first there was news that McFarlane Toys has acquired the license to produce the Official Halo 3 figures. But not much there, right?
OK, so I see the first images of figures available, and it piqued my interest.
As time passed, I became more aware of the buzz surrounding Halo 3, so I have to be a curious sort of person, I began to research and read about a little more. And the more I saw and read the more I am drawn by the excitement and anticipation for the match.
So much so that once I can Sneak it passed the woman I intend to buy myself an Xbox 360 so I too could play it!
Halo is a trilogy of video games for Xbox 360 from Microsoft created by Bungie Studios.
The story centers around a character named Master Chief, ie Master Chief Petty Officer SPARTAN-117. Master Chief is a human super-soldier equipped with an armament of many advanced technologies and bulletproof vests.
In Master Chief and his companion Cortana AI fight against the alien Covenant in a futuristic universe. The aura of the game title is a huge mega-structure that is in orbit. This structure is enormous orbital similar to the series of books Ringworld by Larry Niven. In fact, he was approached by Bungie to write the novelization based on the game
These three games have been critically acclaimed and hailed as the best person shooters and most influential first on a game console. Other games tried to illustrate Halo have been classified as "Halo Killer".
Since its first version of the franchise was extended other markets with five novels, several graphic novels, action figures, and several other spin off titles and games.
The cultural impact of Halo has been compared to the impact that the original Star Wars Trilogy had in the 70's and 80's and in fact to this day. The term "Halo Nation" refers to people who play the game.
The last episode of the current series of the game was released September 25, 2007 and another million plus incredible $ 170 in its first 24 hours! Making it the largest event ever in the history entertainment.
Halo: Combat Evolved
The first installment of the trilogy takes place on the mysterious Halo mega structure – Was released November 15, 2001. In a chronology before the games started a collection of alien races known as the Covenant, the intention the destruction of humanity, the attack on the house of the man's military production, called REACH, and destroy.
But single ship, the Pillar of Autumn escapes carrying with it the last known SPARTAN-II super soldier called Master Chief. Ships to board AI named Cortana starts jumping randomly through slipspace try to take the Covenant of the Earth when the ship discovers unexpectedly Halo. At this stage, that you assume the role of Master Chief and descend to the surface of the ring to battle the Covenant and discover the secrets of Halo.
The game met with much critical success upon its release and has been ranked as the 14th best game ever by IGN.
Halo II
Released November 9, 2004, two different editions of Halo 2 was launched. The standard game comes with the traditional Xbox packaging and a single disc components single and multiplayer. The Collectors Edition came with a case specially designed aluminum with a bonus DVD, extra booklet and a different user manual. The manual in the collector's edition watch the match from the perspective of the Covenant military as the standard version has been point of view of military man. On his first day of release of Halo 2, plus $ 124 million making it the biggest entertainment event of all time at that time and since the party to sell more 8 million copies since.
With new characters, game mechanics, weapons, vehicles, improved artificial intelligence and a more advanced graphics engine that uses normal mapping and bloom effects. For the first time the game also supported multiplayer games online via Xbox Live.
Its ability to play online, it also has Bungie.net integration with the classification and monitoring for all online games. A PC port developed by an internal team to consist of Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie has also been developed. 1 pc Halo and Halo 2 Vista includes multiplayer maps are not available on the Xbox version and has features for custom content created with the mounting kit Halo.
A new project
On September 27, 2006 an Untitled Halo Project was announced by Microsoft that would be co-wrote and co-designed by Peter Jackson, it has since been revealed that this project is really a new story arc of the Halo series. It was also confirmed that it will be a new episodic series and is likely to be a new trilogy.

Why is it easier to point the original Xbox in halo2?
I've been playing halo2 on my 360 for a year and played in the original Xbox lastnight and it is much easier to aim and in the original Snipe Why?
I have no idea, i havent really noticed a difference
