Do I need a fan for my xbox 360?
I have a 360, and is not in a narrow place / hidden, but it still gets very hot. I've seen fans for sale for xboxs, but do not work and are they necessary? I want my xbox to have a life as much as possible, so I'll get a fan if needed. I say get one. I sold mine because I did get the RROD on others and I pulled it apart, put new thermal paste and put the intercooler and never had a problem with overheating again. Next to go was the disk drive motor. When I was unemployed, I played about 8 hours a day, often much more than that.
